Message from my College English teacher

Posted on 16:53 by Unknown
Hello, everyone.

How you doing? I'm good; just came back from having a piece of cake that we made on Sunday to celebrate my brother's 21st birthday, again. It was a week apart, but it was a chocolate cake with some coffee flavoring; boy it was lip-smacking delicious!

Anyway, in this blog, what I'm going to present to you guys now is a message I sent to my English teacher in my recent college semester and what she said to me back. I won't tell you guys what her name is not even if you request it; comments will be removed if you ask me what her name is.

I decide to show it off because I feel it's really appropriate for me to show off just how lucky I was to build a really successful relationship with an English teacher!

Well, without further ado, enjoy reading the message!!

This is a message saying it's been a pleasure working with you as a student in your Studies in Genre class. Here's my long summary:

Taking the time to study about racial issues and aboriginal marginalization was probably something that I think it was well worth taking a look at, apart from other themes like relationships; those are extremely difficult to understand. Poems are hard for me to understand too, but I was pretty considerate throughout the whole course.

Although my final mark is technically the lowest out of all the five courses out of this semester, there was one thing I was able to achieve: 79% is the highest mark I've earned out of the four English courses I have completed in my past two years at Champlain.

My first course, with Norcene Webb, was the course with the lowest mark; 68%. Second course, a professional English course with David Rozon, is tied with my third English course, with Daria Buczko-Hackett at 72%.

Then again, I think this was the best English course I took at CEGEP. No outbreaks of sadness, no crying, no disrespects. And better yet, I was so delighted to have a nice teacher.

I hope this would be an experience for you to share the next time you have an autistic student in your class. I'm hoping you can share what your thoughts of my projects and efforts in this class were so that way you can tell them, "you can have potential to do the same thing as Mr. Desrosiers did; just believe in yourself."

So, I want to wish you have a great summer, enjoy the nice weather [well, not as much as me because you'd be working at Champlain all summer], and I hope to see you again when I come back this August.

I'm sorry if I couldn't come to talk about my manuscript by the way, but because of how there were two parts in the book that are technically inappropriate and that there are so many marketing problems, I am taking the time to rewrite my e-book. In fact, no one's been buying it for the past twenty days. The new edition is going to be a whole lot bigger and should provide concise information to readers. [if you want the better edition, then I'll send you the final manuscript for free once it's finished]

Well, I hope to see you again some other time. So long!

Yours Truly,
Gregory Desrosiers

Now, this is what the teacher sent me, that I felt really accomplished for the first time I said it!!

Dear Gregory,

What a delightful message.  I am very lucky to have had you as a student this year.  It has been a wonderfully eye-opening and fun experience having you in my class.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write to me personally.  You made my day!

Finally, keep doing what you do!  Keep spreading the word and working hard on your projects.  I look forward to seeing what the future brings for you.  Please do keep in touch!

Best wishes for a lovely summer and a bright future.

Alright, that does it for this blog! I'll see you later with more blogs to come!
